Artist Statement
I am a representational painter with a great love for American masters such as Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent. I work from life and photograph, which opens up the possibilities of a greater range of subject matter. I am drawn to atmosphere and the play of light on a subject and am focused on creating beautiful, well crafted paintings.
